We are located in the middle of some of the best steelhead, salmon, and sturgeon fishing in the world. The Lewiston Clarkston valley is very much a outdoorsmans paradise. The Snake and Clearwater River join together which make up the the body of water we call the pool or better known as the confluence. Idaho is very different demographically with it's terrain. Lewiston considered to be in the Northern part of the state has very mild temperatures throughout the winter. Only seven hundred feet above sea level, Lewiston is right in the middle of the banana belt region that provides us with great fishing weather year around.
More than 200 years ago Lewis and Clark wintered on the Clearwater River with the Nez Pearce tribe while waiting to finish their journey down the Columbia river. Lewiston is very rich in history and today still has a lot of area attractions. Being a year around fishery, our local hotels and vendors thrive on taking care of our fishing guests.
Our Lewiston airport facilitate our fly in guests offering two major carriers with Alaska and Delta. We have many choices of car rentals agencies or give us a call about our company shuttle when fishing with us for multiple days.
There are lots of Lodging options around the Lewiston Clarkston valley, although we highly recommend the Little Canyon Lodge in Peck or the Rivers Edge Best Western in Orofino.
Here is a list of other activities for folks to do before or after their guided fishing adventure with Stott's. Trail hiking, mountain biking, white water trips, rodeo, gold panning, horse back riding, big game hunting, bird hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, and camping. We would be happy to assist you in finding activities for your group.
