Moses Lake Fishing Guide

Moses Lake, located in the Central part of Washington has year-around fishing opportunities for warmwater species. Walleye and smallmouth bass dominate the most attention anglers give on this 6,800-acre reservoir. Moses Lake is surrounded by a mixture of rural and urban areas that creates an enjoyable destination for anglers wanting to camp on one of Moses Lake Campgrounds. Moses Lake also provides excellent crappie, perch and bluegill fishing. Walleye on the lake can exceed the 10 lb. mark and many 5 lb. Smallmouth bass have been caught. Bluegill, perch and crappie fishing can be excellent at times and usually best during the fall months.

Moses Lake Walleye Fishing Trips

Located in Grant County Washington State, Moses Lake is considered a shallow body of water with some great walleye fishing. Moses Lake is a man-made lake that was created from the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project. Our Moses Lake fishing guide service focuses mainly on walleye, but we can’t help but to catch bass, perch, and crappie while targeting walleye. Prime fishing on Moses Lake is in the spring through the month of June. We spend most of our fishing trolling worm harnesses with smile blades and slow death hook-up but we love to target schooling fish with boards and crankbaits. Stott’s Fishing team travels all over the Pacific Northwest chasing many different species of fish, on many different bodies of water. Moses Lake is one of our favorite fun fisheries that has so much to offer. Call for best times to fish and check out our social media postings for recent catches on the lake.
